GHOSTS LIVE HERE!! This was a fun rejuvenation and restoration study we did for the Hoquiam Elks. From the stories we were told, this was the first Elks Club built in Washington State, and is well over 100 years old. The original character is evident from the exterior, but as you move inside, there were some unfortunate remodels completed in the 1970's. Our job was to focus on providing a fresh update to this classic structure and restoring the original character of the interior spaces used daily by members and their guests, and hopefully please some of the long time tenants who still haunt the building.
